Dental Implants

Since the FDA gave its final approval to use MDI (mini dental implants) for long term use, using the mini and hybrid dental implants to replace missing teeth and stabilize loose dentures has become the fastest growing procedure in dentistry today. The fact that these MDI's are easy to place, can immediately be loaded with force and are about half the price of a conventional implant have made these titanium implants so popular. Placement of these implants is accomplished quickly and easily in the dental office with only local anesthetic. Using a precise, controlled, minimally invasive surgical technique, the MDI implants are placed into the jaw bone, usually with little to no bleeding. Because of the minimally invasive nature of this procedure, MDI placement doesn't require a lengthy healing period, meaning a crown or denture can immediately be placed.
